Green Media EnterprisesSM, a portfolio company of EBITDA
Media, was
established in 2007 by a dedicated group of senior management professionals
with a vision of building an integrated media platform dedicated
to the green marketplace. Green Media Enterprises’ management
team is uniquely qualified to produce the most comprehensive trade
shows, seminars, publications, and Web sites dedicated to all things
green.
Our Products
Our events are the GREEN WEST and GREEN EAST expositions and conferences which are held in Southern California and New York City.
Our Team
William F. Cobert, Chairman of Green Media Enterprises and CEO of
EBITDA Media LLC. Mr. Cobert has an extensive background in business-to-business
media and management. For many years he served as the President and
CEO of Canon Communications, a leading media company specializing
in publications, trade show, and digital media for high-tech industries.
Under his leadership the company achieved record growth in revenues
and profitability, employing almost 300 employees throughout the
United States, Europe, and Asia. The company was sold in 2005, and
Mr. Cobert went on to found EBITDA Media, a private investment holding
company for business-to-business properties. In 2007 EBITDA Media
acquired 100% of Green Media Enterprises, where he now serves as
Chairman.
Diane O’Connor, President of Green Media Enterprises. Ms. O’Connor
is a senior media executive with 20 years experience in the trade
show industry. She most recently headed the trade show division of
Canon Communications, an integrated media company dedicated to high-tech
manufacturing. Under her leadership Canon’s trade show portfolio
expanded from two shows to twenty six, including two in the Tradeshow Week Top 100 ranking.
Suzanna Rosemont, Vice President of Marketing. Ms. Rosemont has extensive
experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies
for both attendee and exhibitor promotions. During Ms. Rosemont’s
distinguished career as Director of Marketing at Canon Communications,
she attained record-high exhibitor retention and attendee levels
for Canon’s entire portfolio of shows. Ms. Rosemont has an
impressive track record in developing successful marketing programs
for conferences and seminars, both in person and online.
Adam Schaffer, VP of Sales and Business Development. Mr. Schaffer is a tradeshow and media executive with more than 20 years experience. Most recently, he was Group Publisher at 1105 Media, Inc. where he oversaw the Office Technology Aftermarket Group and the Environmental Group portfolios, which consisted of magazines, paid newsletters, numerous electronic offerings as well as global tradeshow operations including expos in Las Vegas, Shanghai, and Mumbai. Prior to that, Mr. Schaffer was Publisher of Tradeshow Week at Reed Business Information, where he launched a variety of products and events, including the highly respected Tradeshow Week Fastest 50 annual conference and awards gala.
Roger White, Vice President of Operations. Mr. White’s career
in operations and logistics spans the past 17 years, including directing
the operations of a Tradeshow Week 100 event, a Tradeshow Week 200 event, along with two dozen other trade shows and conferences
in the design and manufacturing, plastics, packaging, and electronics
industries. Mr. White comes to GME after a 12-year tenure leading
the Operations within the Events Division at Canon Communications,
prior to which he spent 5 years in public transit and rail transportation.
